Capital Cities lights up their audience wrapping up two year tour
The Fonda Theatre—November 20, 2014—"Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to love,"
Capital Cities sings out [lyrics from "Tell Me How To Live" by Capital Cities] and immediately they have the crowd in the palm of their hands. Totally unexpected—their live show differs from so many overly done shows that require hallucinogenic drugs to enjoy—Capital Cities uses real instruments (allowing their horn player to be the star that he is) and oozes with passion to entertain their audience.

The New York Palace makes NYC Sweet 16 trip of a lifetime
The New York Palace makes NYC Sweet 16 trip of a lifetime
Your dad is not supposed to die when you're just about to turn 16. But my daughter's father did. He and I had been planning a fantastic friend filled birthday vacation to New York for her 16th birthday since summertime.

One month prior to the big trip, my daughter and I were en route to watch my nephew's Pop Warner football game. Our phones kept alternately ringing from a blocked caller. We didn't answer. Then "Daddy" popped up as the caller ID on my daughter's screen and we both thought it had been him calling all along, perhaps from someone else's phone. I told her to answer.
